If you have been asking yourself “is the PS Classic worth it?” I’ll save you some time and answer the question quickly.
Yes, yes it is!
With the recent price drop of the system from its initial release price ($100). The now new price around $25 makes it a HECK of a deal! It’s also a very nice electronic device for that price too!
So much as even rivaling the retro pie as an emulation device for a small price!
Get the most out of your PS Classic
You are going to want to buy the PS Classic simply to mod it to get the most out of the system.
Sure, the PS Classic has a decent library of games especially for the lower price now.
But whenever you can turn it into an awesome emulation device using BleemSync then that’s exactly what you should do!
You can locate the tutorial on how to do the mod by clicking the BleemSync Link!

Don’t Stop There
The PS Classic even with BleemSync installs RETROARCH! That’s right this thing is a great emulation device.
Adding Retro Arch pretty much adds even more functions and you can add even more emulators and roms if you like.
NES, SNES, Game Boy, and Game Boy Advance is the route I normally take and the PS Classic is more than powerful enough to support these emulators.
Where to purchase the PS Classic
I got mine on Amazon and I highly recommend it.
With Amazon Prime, you can get the Classic REALLY quick with 2-day shipping.

Please do some research on which USB drives that the PS Classic uses.
I had to purchase a bigger one myself down below and confirmed that it works.
- 64 GB USB Drive – (https://amzn.to/2jNWWuS) | I also like that it is small too and looks more appealing stick out of the PS Classic.
Originally the PS Classic would not have been a purchase I would have ever made. $100 for some PlayStation games and from my research some bad quality emulation.
Adding BleemSync to the mix and the reduced cost of the PlayStation Classic really made the purchase really hard to pass up.
So I didn’t pass it up and I’m glad I bought it!
The PS Classic really does make an almost perfect emulation device. With creative functions like pressing the open button to change discs! Which is really cool.
